Tuesday of the Fourth Week of Lent

Readings of the Day
RB: Ch 51 Those on Local Errands or Work
Mass: Ezk 47:1-9, 12; Resp Ps 46; Jn 5:1-16

The Lord of hosts is with us; our stronghold is the God of Jacob.

Jesus' question is a simple one: 'Do you want to be well?'

Heal us, O Lord.
We are paralyzed by stunted dreams and hopes too small.
We are sickened by addictions and satiety.
We are disappointed by false promises of life from self-appointed gods.
(Magnificat, Intercessions, April 2, 2019)

RISE, TAKE UP YOUR MAT, AND WALK.

O Lord our God, you are the source of life. Free us from the ills that weigh us down and keep us from devoting our lives to the living proclamation of the Gospel. Raise us to discipleship, that we may offer to others life in your name, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
(Magnificat, Prayer for the Morning, April 2, 2019)
