You are my God.

MARY, QUEEN OF PEACE,
SAINT MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL,
PRAY FOR US.

JESUS, CRUCIFIED FOR US,
LOVE SUBSTANTIAL OF THE FATHER AND THE SON,
HAVE MERCY ON US.

He Himself bore our sins in His body upon the cross, so that, free from sin, we might live for righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed.
(1 Pt 2:24)

The body of the historical Jesus no longer hangs upon the cross.
The Cross is here so that the triumph
which took place in Jesus once and for all
might continue to happen in His Body-
so that His triumph might take place in us,
in our lives and in our death.
In this hope, let us come to embrace the Cross.*

SAINT JOHN BAPTISTE DE LA SALLE,
SAINT HENRY WALPOLE,
PRAY FOR US.
