RB: Ch 28 Those Who Refuse to Amend after Frequent Reproofs
Mass: Esther C:12, 14-16, 23-25; Resp Ps 138; Mt 7:7-12
Lord, on the day O called for help, you answered me.
HEART OF JESUS, FOUNTAIN OF LIFE AND HOLINESS,
HAVE MERCY ON US.
Today we are blessed to hear part of the prayer of Queen Esther, worth reading in its entirety (Esther C:12-30). May we join Queen Esther with humility and in faith, and ask the Lord to help us in time of need: "Now help me, who am alone and have no one but you, O Lord, my God" (Est C:14). Jesus reminds us in the Gospel, Everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened (Mt 7:8).
THE LORD WILL COMPLETE WHAT HE HAS DONE FOR ME;
YOUR KINDNESS, O LORD, ENDURES FOREVER;
FORSAKE NOT THE WORK OF YOUR HANDS.
(Ps 138:8)
The Holy Father's March 2020 Prayer Intention:
Today, the Church in China looks to the future with hope.
The Church wants Chinese Christians to be truly Christians, and to be good citizens.
They should promote the Gospel, but without engaging in proselytism, and they need to achieve the unity of the divided Catholic community.
Let us pray together that the Church in China may persevere in its faithfulness to the Gospel and grow in unity.
