Wednesday of the Thirtieth Week in Ordinary Time

Readings of the Day
RB: Ch 23 Excommunication for Faults
Mass: Rm 8:26-30; Resp Ps 13; Lk 13:22-30

My hope, O Lord, is in your mercy.

HEART OF JESUS, SOURCE OF ALL CONSOLATION,
HAVE MERCY ON US.

For encouragement today, we look to the entrance antiphon for Mass: Let the hearts that seek the Lord rejoice; turn to the Lord and his strength; constantly seek God's face. May we seek the Lord through a life of unceasing prayer and remember that "the Spirit comes to the aid of our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes with inexpressible groanings. And the one who searches hearts knows what is the intention of the Spirit, because he intercedes for the holy ones according to God's will" (Rm 8:26-27). Thanks be to God.

LOOK, ANSWER ME, O LORD MY GOD.
(Resp Ps 13)
