The Almighty has done great things for me, and holy is his Name.

I turn to the reading for the celebration of Our Lady of the Rosary, taken from the Acts of the Apostles. After Jesus ascended to heaven, the Apostles gathered in the upper room in Jerusalem. There we find others with them: Mary, the mother of Jesus, his brothers, and some women. All of them "devoted themselves with one accord to prayer". May we be so devoted to prayer.

Pour forth we beseech you, O Lord,
your grace into our hearts,
that we, to whom the Incarnation of Christ your Son
was made known by the message of an Angel,
may, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin May,
by his Passion and Cross
be brought to the glory of his Resurrection.
Who lives and reigns with you in the unity
of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
(Collect, Mass)

As it is written: The prayer of the righteous pierces the heavens. And who is this just person if not Mary the Just from whom the Sun of Justice rose for us.
(Bernard of Clairvaux)

MARY, QUEEN OF THE MOST HOLY ROSARY,
PRAY FOR US.

Today's photo: All week, please enjoy flowers from our garden.
