RB: Ch 9 The Number of Psalms at the Night Office
Mass: Joel 4:12-21; Resp Ps 97; Lk 11:27-28
We are to be attentive to God's word as Jesus tells us today: Blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it (Lk 11:28). I thought of Jesus' words when we sang with the psalmist this morning, "Teach me to do your will, for you, O Lord, are my God" (Ps 142 [143]:10). May our ears and hearts be open.
