Wednesday of the Fourth Week of Easter

Saint Pachomius, Abbot (292-348)
Saint Isidore the Farmer (1070-1130)

Readings of the Day
RB: Ch 2:30-32
Mass: Acts 12:24-13:5a; Resp Ps 67; Jn 12:44-50

O God, let all the nations praise you.

Jesus cries out to us: 'I came into the world as light, so that everyone who believes in me might not remain in darkness.' May we let Jesus enter whatever dark places we have in our hearts today and free us from all that binds us.

O God, you are over all, in all, beyond all. Open our eyes to see the wonders that surround us; open our hearts to know the wonders of our brothers and sisters; open our lips to sing your praise. Restore all peoples in your image, who is Jesus Christ, your Son and our Lord, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
(Magnificat, Prayer for the Morning, May 15, 2019)

The Word of God continued to spread and grow.

SAINT PACHOMIUS, SAINT ISIDORE THE FARMER,
PRAY FOR US.
