Readings of the Day
RB: Ch 2:16-22
Mass: Acts 11:1-18; Resp Ps 42;43; Jn 10:1-10
Athirst is my soul for the living God.
I have been reflecting this morning on Jesus, the Good Shepherd, who calls me by name. A question arose: Do I listen to His voice? It is those who recognize their weaknesses, vulnerabilities, need to forgive and be forgiven, and who need healing who hear His voice. In other words, those who hear His voice are the ones who are ready to receive the Good Shepherd's healing love and then to receive themselves and others. Indeed, these are the ones who long for life. And they will have it more abundantly.
That day I will finally gather in the lame and bring together those who have been led astray.
(Micah 4:6)
Mary, Virgin of Fátima, we are certain that each one of us is precious in your eyes and that nothing in our hearts has estranged you. Guard our life with your embrace, guide us all on the path to holiness.
