Readings of the Day
RB: Ch 7:10-18
Mass: Acts 22:30; 23:6-11; Resp Ps 16; Jn 17:20-26

Keep me safe, O God, you are my hope.

MARY, SPIRITUAL VESSEL,
PRAY FOR US.

In today's account from the Acts of the Apostles, the Lord stood near Paul and said, "Take courage. For just as you have borne witness to my cause in Jerusalem, so you must also bear witness in Rome" (Acts 23:11). We, as disciples of Christ, are to join St Paul and bear witness to this gift given to us by God. Most of us won't be going to Rome, but we bear witness wherever we find ourselves, near and far. Do others recognize us as Christians by the way we live? Are we joyful, merciful, compassionate, and do we maintain a sense of humor? Let your light shine!

Let us pray to God our strength:
You, O Lord, are our lamp!
Make us resolute in proclaiming Good News through our lives.
(Magnficat, Intercessions, May 28, 2020)
