Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth.

MARY, QUEEN OF PEACE,
PRAY FOR US.

We pray first "for the repose of the souls of those who have died in service to our nation, and for all who continue to risk their lives in military service" (Magnificat, Prayer of the Faithful, May 24, 2020). We also continue to pray for all families and friends "gathering" to kick off the summer months, including those who grieve the death of a loved one and those separated physically and/or emotionally from loved ones for one reason or another. For their health and well-being.

We have big hitter saints to invoke today. We will have trouble in the world, Jesus tells us in today's Gospel, and adds, "take courage, I have conquered the world" (Jn 16:33). Keep going with your eyes fixed on what is above, not on what is on earth (Col 3:2). Living and true God, "remember that we are slow to believe, and strengthen our faith" (Magnificat, Intercessions, May 25, 2020).

SAINT BEDE THE VENERABLE,
SAINT MARY MAGDALEN DE PAZZI,
POPE SAINT GREGORY VII,
PRAY FOR US.
