The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.

HEART OF JESUS, OUR LIFE AND OUR RESURRECTION,
HAVE MERCY ON US.

Welcome to Tuesday within the Octave of Easter. Easter, what Mother Elvira Petrozzi (the foundress of Comunita Cenacolo) calls "the 'feast of feet that run.' Everyone arrives at the tomb tired, sad, and disappointed … and they leave running!" 🌞 In today's Gospel, Mary Magdalene is outside the tomb weeping (Jn 20:11), surely tired, sad, and disappointed. After Jesus calls her by name, "Mary!" (Jn 20:16), Mary gets busy and announces "I have seen the Lord"! (Jn 20:18). Jesus is calling each one of us by name. Let us get busy and run to announce the good news. Jesus is Risen!

Christ is alive! He is our hope, and in a wonderful way he brings youth to our world … Christ is alive and he wants you to be alive! He is in you, he is with you and he never abandons you. However far you may wander, he is always there, the Risen One. He calls you and he waits for you to return to him and start over again. When you feel you are growing old out of sorrow, resentment or fear, doubt or failure, he will always be there to restore your strength and your hope.
(Pope Francis, Christus Vivit Christ is Alive, 1-2)

We pray with the Holy Father that God may give us the grace of unity:

In these difficult times, may He allow us to discover the communion that binds us and the unity which is always greater than any division.
