RB: Ch 69 The Presumption of Defending Another in the Monastery
Mass: Acts 6:8-15; Resp Ps 119; Jn 6:22-29
HEART OF JESUS, FULL OF GOODNESS AND LOVE,
HAVE MERCY ON US.
In today's reading from the Acts of the Apostles, there are certain people who are busy spending energy debating with Stephen, and instigating and stirring up the people. For them and for all of us come words from Jesus in the Communion Antiphon: Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you, says the Lord, alleluia.
We pray with the Holy Father:
Let us pray today for artists, for those who have this great capacity for creativity. May the Lord give us all the grace of creativity at this time.
