Hold fast to the word I preached to you.
A way to heed another of St Benedict's Guidelines for Good Christian Practice: 'No one should aspire to gain a reputation for holiness. First of all, we must actually become holy; then there will be some truth in having a reputation for it' (RB 4:62), is by never forgetting St Paul's words to the Corinthians, 'by the grace of God I am what I am' (1 Co 15:10).
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.
