Feast of Saints Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael

Readings of the Day
RB: Ch 7:24-30
Mass: Da 7:9-10, 13-14 or Rev 12:7-12ab; Resp Ps 138; Jn 1:47-51

In the sight of the angels I will sing your praises, Lord.

What follows is the text from our Morning Prayer hymn.

Splendor of the Father's glory, Christ the ever faithful Son,
Christ our life and resurrection, throned upon the cherubim.
We who daily rise from darkness,
newly born, renew our grateful hymn.

Ev'ry dawn is Easter morning; angels still attend the tomb.
Angels take the road before us, burn like sun upon the land.
Holy Michael stands beside us,
shield and buckler, strong protecting hand.

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, all creation sings for joy.
Heaven tells its tale of wonder, earth its adoration pays.
Human tongues and angel voices gladly blend in one exultant hymn.
Amen.

SAINTS MICHAEL, GABRIEL, AND RAPHAEL,
PRAY FOR US.
