WHOEVER RECEIVES YOU RECEIVES ME, AND WHOEVER RECEIVES ME RECEIVES THE ONE WHO SENT ME.

With today's Gospel, I think of something Jesus said about Gertrude the Great of Helfta. Jesus told one of Gertrude's sisters, "I live in the heart of Gertrude." 

We pray with words from St Benedict, "the love of Christ must come before all else" (RB 4:21) and the antiphon we sang with Psalm 89 this morning, "In the morning, fill us with your love, O Lord."
