RB: Ch 34 Distribution of Goods According to Need
Mass: Gn 46:1-7, 28-30; Resp Ps 37; Mt 10:16-23
Take delight in the Lord, and he will grant you your heart's requests.
HEART OF JESUS, IN WHOSE FULLNESS WE HAVE ALL RECEIVED,
HAVE MERCY ON US.
With verse 4 from Responsorial Psalm 37 under today's photo from our garden and the invocation from the Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus above, we pray with the Entrance Antiphon and Collect from Mass.
The designs of his Heart are from age to age, to rescue their souls from death and to keep them alive in famine.
Clothe us, Lord God,
with the virtues of the Heart of your Son
and set us aflame with is love,
that, conformed to his image,
we may merit a share in eternal redemption.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity
of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
