Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them.

I include a few quotations for reflection. Is there something of the child within that you would like to recapture?

The secret of genius is to carry the spirit of the child into old age, which means never losing your enthusiasm.
(Aldous Huxley, 1894-1963)

When we learn to play better, we learn to love better, too. We become easier to live with, better to be around, more creative when we work, more full of joy always.
(Joan Chittister, OSB)

Play is a talent adults understood as children and then need to develop again later in life, if for no other reason than to make getting up in the morning an exciting event.
(Joan Chittister, OSB)

BLESSED ARE YOU, FATHER, LORD OF HEAVEN AND EARTH; YOU HAVE REVEALED TO LITTLE ONES THE MYSTERIES OF THE KINGDOM.
(Gospel Acclamation, Mass)
