Saint Camillus of Lellis (1550-1614)

Readings of the Day
RB: Ch 35:12-18;

God's holy mountain, fairest of heights, is the joy of all the earth.

Some days are better than others. So far, and it is early, there are two things that have caused me to take pause. First, the Holy Father's tweet: "On the Day of Judgement we will not be judged for our ideas, but for the compassion we have shown to others." Second, the Gospel versicle, taken from the psalmist. Saint Benedict quotes it in the Prologue of the Holy Rule: If today you hear God's voice, harden not your hearts (Ps 94[95]:8).

SAINT KATERI TEKAKWITHA,
SAINT CAMILLUS OF LELLIS,
PRAY FOR US.

Today's photo: See snow-capped Diamond Peak in the Cascade Mountain Range, Oregon. Another beauty from Catherine. Thank you.
