Feast of Saint James, Apostle

Readings of the Day
RB: Ch 45 Mistakes in the Oratory
Mass: 2 Cor 4:7-15; Resp Ps 126; Mt 20:20-28

The Lord has done great things for us, we are glad indeed.

MARY, QUEEN OF APOSTLES,
PRAY FOR US.

Something to consider when reflecting on today's Gospel passage is this: God does not play favorites. Jesus loves everybody, saint and sinner alike. Whoever wishes to be great among you shall be your servant; whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your slave (Mt 20:26-27).

Jesus Christ loves you; he gave his life to save you; and now he is living at your side every day to enlighten, strengthen and free you.
(Pope Francis, The Joy of the Gospel, 164)

SAINT JAMES,
PRAY FOR US.

Today's photo: Who are your loved ones with the name of James? See here Papaw James Andrew with granddaughter Vivian James, my brother and grandniece. 😎
