Those who follow you, Lord, will have the light of life.

HEART OF JESUS, FORMED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THE WOMB OF THE VIRGIN MOTHER, HAVE MERCY ON US.

The special days of this Advent season are moving along. It is raining cats and dogs in this part of the world and it seems like a good day to listen more deeply and refocus if needed. It is the one who "delights in the law of the Lord and meditates on his law day and night" (Ps 1) who is blessed. So we turn to Our Lord: "I, the Lord, your God, teach you what is for your good, and lead you on the way you should go" (Is 48:17). Be assured, "The Lord will come; go out to meet him! He is the prince of peace" (Gospel Acclamation, Mass).

The Lord is coming, always coming. When you have ears to hear and eyes to see, you will recognize him in any moment of your life. Life is Advent: life is recognizing the coming of the Lord.
