RB: Ch 7:24-30
Mass: Heb 10:1-10; Resp Ps 40; Mk 3:31-35
Look towards God and be radiant; let your faces not be abashed.
The prayer in our hearts and on our lips today could be the words from the psalmist: Here am I, Lord: I come to do your will (Resp Ps 40), for, as Jesus told the crowd in today's Gospel, and us, 'whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother.'
In order to be formed again and come to share God's nature we must first shape our life according to Christ's.
(Isaac of Stella)
Lord God of time and timelessness, you order all things according to your wise designs. Grant us discerning hearts, that we may know and love and serve your plan, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
(Magnificat, Prayer for the Morning, January 29, 2019)
