Let all his angels worship him.

Welcome to Ordinary Time!

St Mark is clear. John is arrested. Jesus goes to Galilee and proclaims the gospel of God: 'This is the time of fulfillment. The kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.' The Lord passes by, saying to some fishermen, 'Come after me'. They follow him. It seems to me a good way to begin Ordinary Time. Repent. Believe. Follow.

WITH YOU, O LORD, IS THE FOUNTAIN OF LIFE, AND IN YOUR LIGHT WE SEE LIGHT.
(Communion Antiphon, Mass)

Attend to the pleas of your people with heavenly care, O Lord, we pray, that they may see what must be done and gain strength to do what they have seen.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirt, one God, for ever and ever.
(Collect, Mass)

Miss Crosley Jayne Buchner, rest in peace.
