Forever I will maintain my love for my servant.
MARY, QUEEN OF PEACE,
PRAY FOR US.
Heart of Jesus, formed by the Holy Spirit in the womb of the Virgin Mother,
have mercy on us.
With Jesus' closing words in today's Gospel, Our Lord tells us not to worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself. Sufficient for a day is its own evil (Mt 6:34). If you do have worries, take them to His blessed Mother. She will help you.
Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy,
our life our sweetness and our hope.
to thee do we cry,
poor banished children of Eve.
To thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious advocate,
thine eyes of mercy toward us,
and after this our exile
show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving,
O sweet Virgin Mary.
With you
have been hidden the unfailing treasures
of truth and grace
of peace and pity
of salvation and wisdom
of glory and honor.
(Adam of Perseigne, 1145-1221, Cistercian monk and abbot in Mary Most Holy: Meditating with the Early Cistercians)
There is no danger in loving Mary too much ... because all that we entrust to the Lady, Jesus receives with increase ... loving Mary, we love God, and it takes nothing from Him, but does altogether the opposite.
(Blessed Rafael Arnaiz Baron, in G.M. Fernandez, God Alone, p. 87)
MARY, MOTHER OF HOPE,
PRAY FOR US.
Today's photo: Back to Ordinary Time, we are blessed to dedicate this Saturday to the Virgin Mary. I searched the archives for something Our Lady might like. For you then, Mother admirable, please pray for us.
