Trappist Monks of Tibhirine

There is so much to pray for and be thankful for today. Let us join Mary, Queen of Peace, and say, 'May it be done to me according to your word.'

What follows is the text from the hymn we sang at Morning Prayer:

Hail, Mary full of grace, holy Mother of God,
The Lord has chosen you to be queen of all.
Gabriel brought his message, while all the
heavens watched in awe.

The angel said to her: Hail, to you, Child of grace;
Rejoice, O holy One, for the Lord is with you.
You shall call his name Jesus, and bear him
to the waiting world.

'May it be done to me, just as you have declared;
The Lord's handmaid am I, waiting on his command;
He who is great and mighty has raised me
up to be his own.

May all creation now, rise up in praise of her,
Most holy Virgin blest, worthy of all our love;
Chosen by Christ our Savior, to be his
holy dwelling place.

SING TO THE LORD A NEW SONG, FOR HE HAS DONE MARVELOUS DEEDS.
(Resp Ps 98)

MARANA THA! COME, LORD JESUS!
