MARY, QUEEN OF PEACE,
PRAY FOR US.

O chosen people, proclaim the mighty works of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.
(Entrance Antiphon, Mass for the Optional Memorial of Saint Augustine of Canterbury)

We continue to join others in preparation for Sunday's celebration of the Ascension of the Lord. Jesus tells us that our grief will become joy and no one will take that joy away. Yes, our hearts will rejoice (Jn 16:20,22). Our month of Mary is drawing to a close and we rejoice with her, the Sorrowful Mother, who is Mary, Cause of our joy. Amen.

SAINT AUGUSTINE OF CANTERBURY,
BLESSED ANDREW FRANCHI,
PRAY FOR US.
