RB: Ch 28 Those Who Refuse to Amend After Frequent Reproofs

Mass: Rm 14:7-12; Resp Ps 27; Lk 15:1-10

I believe I shall see the bounty of the Lord in the land of the living.

HEART OF JESUS, ABYSS OF ALL VIRTUES,
HAVE MERCY ON US.

Saint Paul's words from today's reading from the Letter to the Romans is a call to action: "None of us lives for oneself, and no one dies for oneself. For if we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die. we die for the Lord; so then, whether we live or die, we are the Lord's" (Rm 14:7-8). So let's give it up for the Lord. Saint Charles Borromeo certainly did. A pep talk from him follows.

If you wish to make any progress in the service of God we must begin every day of our life with new ardor.
(Saint Charles Borromeo)

SAINT CHARLES BORROMEO,
SAINT JOSEPH,
PRAY FOR US.
