Refresh my heart in Christ
Lord, Jesus Christ, Son of the living God, open our hearts so that we love you with our whole heart, our whole soul, and all our strength, and love our neighbor as ourselves.
Through Christ the teacher, O Lord,
instruct those who feed you with Christ, the living Bread,
that on the feast of day of blessed Albert the Great
they may learn your truth
and express it in works of charity.
Through Christ our Lord.

Although human nature itself is inclined to be compassionate toward the old and the young, the authority of the rule should also provide for them.
