You have revealed them to the childlike.

HEART OF JESUS, IN WHOM ARE ALL TREASURES OF WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE,
HAVE MERCY ON US.

Welcome to December. As seen from the above lists of saints, I've decided to continue the custom started in November, that is, list all the saints of the day as presented in Butler's Lives of the Saints. As written yesterday, how blessed we are with our faith tradition and so many saints to intercede for us. May we be inspired by their witness to the faith. All the saints, pray for us!

During this first week of Advent may we have the awe and wonder of the childlike. May we go about the daily with open hearts, minds, eyes and ears so as to recognize the presence of God in our midst. To help, "let us frequently repeat the traditional Advent prayer: 'Come, Lord Jesus' (Rev 22:20): before meetings, studying, work, and before making important decisions, in the important moments or times of trial: Come, Lord Jesus!" (Pope Francis, Twitter, December 1, 2020).

NO ONE KNOWS WHO THE SON IS EXCEPT THE FATHER, AND WHO THE FATHER IS EXCEPT THE SON AND TO ANYONE WHOM THE SON WISHES TO REVEAL HIM.
(Lk 10:22)
