God sent His Son, born of a woman.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
O PURE AND HOLY VIRGIN,
HOW CAN I FIND WORDS TO PRAISE YOUR BEAUTY?
THE HIGHEST HEAVENS CANNOT CONTAIN GOD WHOM YOU CARRIED IN YOUR WOMB.
(Office of Readings, Responsory)
United in faith and prayer on this World Day of Peace, we praise the beauty of Mary, Mother of God, by slowly and thoughtfully praying the Hail Mary:
Hail, Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
MARY, MOTHER OF GOD,
JOSEPH, SPOUSE OF THE MOTHER OF GOD,
PRAY FOR US.
