Thursday of the Third Week of Lent

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY
Saint John of God

Readings of the day: RB 31:1-12 The Qualities Required by the Cellarer
Mass: Jr 7:23-28; Resp Ps 95; Lk 11:14-23

IF TODAY YOU HEAR HIS VOICE, HARDEN NOT YOUR HEARTS.
(Resp Ps 95)

We are hard to please—incredulous; wanting more proof. Right before our eyes Jesus drives out a demon that is mute. The demon goes out; the formerly mute man speaks. This is not the first sign Jesus has given of his majesty and power; his LOVE, MERCY, and HEALING TOUCH. We continue to be amazed and test Jesus. Show us more!

Living and true God, help us to recognize your presence in ways big and small this day.
Soften the hardness of our hearts so as to listen to your VOICE and walk in your ways.
I THANK ALL WOMEN WHO EVERYDAY STRIVE TO
BUILD MORE HUMANE AND WELCOMING SOCIETIES.
