Saint Agatha, 3rd century martyr

Tuesday of the Fourth Week in Ordinary Time

Readings of the Day
RB: Ch 7:55
Mass: Heb 12:1-5; Resp Ps 22; Mk 5:21-43

Do not be afraid.

'Do not be afraid; just have faith', Jesus says to the synagogue official. Do not be afraid; just have faith, Jesus says to us. 'Let us rid ourselves', then, 'of every burden and sin that clings to us and persevere in running the race that lies before us while keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the leader and perfecter of faith.'

KEEP GOING.

Christ took away our infirmities and bore our diseases. Alleluia.
(Gospel Acclamation, Mass)

SAINT AGATHA, PRAY FOR US.

Saint Francis reminds us that Christians set out armed only with their humble faith and concrete love. If we live in the world according to the ways of God, we will become channels of His presence.
(Pope Francis, Twitter, February 5, 2019)
