Wednesday of the Sixth Week in Ordinary Time

Readings of the Day
RB: Ch 17 The Number of Psalms to be Sung at the Hours
Mass: Gn 8:6-13, 20-22; Resp Ps 116; Mk 8:22-26

I see people looking like trees and walking.

PEOPLE BROUGHT TO JESUS A BLIND MAN AND BEGGED JESUS TO TOUCH HIM.

Men and women are eternally Beggars of Love … they seek a place where they can finally be loved but they can't find it.
(Pope Francis, General Audience, February 20, 2019)

We have another example of the discrete Jesus embracing a wounded man with tenderness, compassion, and love: Jesus took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. Putting spittle on his eyes He laid His hands on the man. Then He laid His hands on the man's eyes a second time.

HE SAW CLEARLY; HIS SIGHT WAS RESTORED AND HE COULD SEE EVERYTHING DISTINCTLY.

Jesus is the place to go for LOVE.
