I say, "You are my God."

MARY, QUEEN OF PEACE,
OUR LADY OF SNOWS,
SAINT MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL,
PRAY FOR US.

JOSEPH MOST JUST,
PRAY FOR US.

I hear the whispers of the crowd ...
(Psalm 31)

And the crowd was certainly whispering about Jeremiah (see Jer 18:18ff). They whispered about Jesus too. Meanwhile, the sons of Zebedee are vying for position (see Mt 20:20ff). Amidst the whispers and competition, we are united in faith and prayer, trust in God, and keep going. Whoever wishes to be great among you shall be your servant; whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your slave (Mt 20:26-27).

If we look forward to receiving God's mercy, we can never fail to do good so long as we have the strength. For if we share with the poor, out of love for God, whatever He has given to us, we shall receive according to His promise a hundredfold in eternal happiness. What a fine profit, what a blessed reward! ...
I trust in Christ, who knows my heart. And so I say: "Woe to the man who trusts in men rather than in Christ." Whether you like it or not, you will grow apart from men, but Christ is faithful and always with you, for Christ provides all things. Let us always give thanks to Him. Amen.
(From a letter by Saint John of God, religious, in Office of Readings, March 8)

SAINT JOHN OF GOD,
SAINT SENAN,
SAINT DUTHAC,
SAINT FELIX,
PRAY FOR US.

Today's photo: I think our saints of the day will like this, especially Saint John of God. And the Prophet Jeremiah too. You are my refuge.
