For the Lord is just, he loves just deeds; the upright shall see his face.
In today's Gospel, Jesus tells Peter, "You follow me." In what one way will you follow Jesus more closely on this Saturday before Pentecost Sunday?
God of mercy and compassion, you strengthen the weak to proclaim the Gospel by fidelity of life. Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, strengthen all your people by the power of the Holy Spirit to live what we proclaim, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
