Monday of the Eighth Week in Ordinary Time

Saint Casimir (1458-1484)

Readings of the Day
RB: Ch 27 The Abbess's Care for the Excommunicated
Mass: Si 17:20-24; Resp Ps 32; Mk 10:17-27

Stand firm in the way set before you, in prayer to the Most High God.

Happy Monday.

There are at least two things to fix in our minds and hearts today: First, just as Jesus looked at the man in today's Gospel and loved him, Our Lord, looking at you, loves you; second, when you face difficulties today, ask Our Lord to help you. Remember, all things are possible for God.

O GOD, COME TO MY ASSISTANCE, O LORD, MAKE HASTE TO HELP ME.

Prayer gives consistency  and vitality to everything we do.

SAINT CASIMIR, PRAY FOR US.
