Monday of the Twenty-Seventh Week in Ordinary Time

Readings of the Day
RB: Ch 7:59
Mass: Ga 1:6-12; Resp Ps 111; Lk 10:25-37

Within your will, O Lord, all things are established, and there is none that can resist your will. For you have made all things, the heaven and the earth, and all that is held within the circle of heaven; you are Lord of all.

The question: 'Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?' The answer: 'You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your being, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.' St Bernard of Clairvaux offers fitting commentary:

This love, enkindled by the Divine Love itself, knows no limit and excludes no one. Its field of action includes all one's neighbors and even bitter enemies. It accommodates itself to everyone and makes the feelings of all it own.

P.S. The dog in the photo is my favorite. She goes by Lulu. 😊
