Saint Robert Bellarmine (1542-1621)

Monday of the Twenty-Fourth Week in Ordinary Time

Readings of the Day
RB: Ch 3:7-13
Mass: 1 Co 11:17-26, 33: Resp Ps 40; Lk 7:1-10

Say the word and let my servant be healed.

When we receive the Eucharist, may our faith be as strong as the centurion's.

Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of the world. Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb.

Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.

MAY THE WORKING OF THIS HEAVENLY GIFT, O LORD, WE PRAY, TAKE POSSESSION OF OUR MINDS AND BODIES, SO THAT ITS EFFECTS, AND NOT OUR OWN DESIRES, MAY ALWAYS PREVAIL IN US.
THROUGH CHRIST OUR LORD.
(Prayer after Communion, Twenty-Fourth Week in Ordinary Time)

St Robert Bellarmine,
pray for us.
